Q. I still have several questions about IHM and the rental program; do you have any more information?

Q. Where can I find out more about the Home Owners Association?
A. As of right now the best source of information regarding the HOA is located in the House Rules, which we have attached a copy for you.
Q. What is the difference between the W-8 and a W-9 forms?
A. The W-9 form is for domestic owners, and the W-8 form is for international owners. Located below you will find more information for better clarification. The W-8 and W-9 forms are located in the Rental Agreement Tab.
Q. What are GET and TAT taxes?
A. GET and TAT are Hawaii State Taxes that are collected from the rental guest and must be paid by the owner. We have included two PDF's, regarding both the general excise tax and transient accommodations tax to give you more information.
Q. How do I file for GET and TAT?
A. You will need to fill out a BB1_vp12 form which is located below and send it into the State of Hawaii Department of Taxation.
Q. I am having trouble filling out my tax forms, where can I get help?
A. Although we are familiar with the forms, it is best if you contact the State of Hawaii Department of Taxation directly either by email, phone or you can visit their website for the most accurate information.
